Hello!

I’m Mrs. Sunne, and this will be my first year at Rober Bennis Elementary, and10th year of teaching all together.  I graduated from Augustana College and began my teaching career in the Brandon Valley School District.  I’ve taught Jr. Kindergarten, fifth grade, and fourth grade.  I graduated with my master’s degree with a specialty in literacy instruction.  I am so happy for another year to learn along with my students!

I live in Brandon with my husband Blake, our daughter Elsie (3), and our son Griffin (1).  Our kids keep us busy and bring us so much joy. We also have two dogs: Sophie (a 7-year-old goldendoodle) and Tucker (a 6-year-old labradoodle).

I am originally from Brandon, so I was raised a Brandon Valley Lynx!  All of our family lives close to the Brandon/Sioux Falls area. We are so thankful to be so close to them all!  

 

Some of my favorites are: time with family and friends, coffee, books, blogs, Barnes & Noble, baking, hiking, photography, Target, track & field, anything Brandon Valley LYNX, and the Jacksonville Jaguars.
